Angkor National Museum
It was a day at the museums. We started our visits in Cambodia with a trip to the Angkor National Museum in Siem Reap. I decided on a black and white checked shirt dress with strawberry patches on it. It was just above knee length and perfectly suitable for conservative Cambodia, while also being extremely chic. That it was cotton was an added bonus.
My hair had been freshly washed the day before, so I decided to wear it loose. I knew there wouldn’t be too many opportunities for loose hair in the coming days given all the outdoor visits we would be making. I rounded off the look with some red bracelets, my trusty black G-Shock watch, a black handbag and a pair of white and silver shoes. Because I was going to be indoors, I did use some compact (which I choose to go without if we are going to be out and about), kohl on the eyes and a nude lipstick.
Bracelet: From Lifestyle, not sure about the brand
Bag: Code, From Lifestyle
Makeup: Compact from ColorBar, Blush from L’Oreal, Kohl from Lakme Eyeconic (Black) and Lipstick from Maybelline.
Note: Shoes like these are all the rage; white with a bit of bling on them. You can pair them with anything – casual dresses, jeans, culottes, three-fourths and convert your casual outfit into a casual chic outfit.
